The Xbox Wireless headset is designed for use with the Xbox 360 S. It is mainly used as a means of communication with other players during game play. As such, it has a maximum range of 30 feet from the console in any direction. A fully charged Xbox wireless headset can be used for a maximum of eight hours continuously.

A charger is provided, simply plug it into a socket and charge for further use. These USB DC chargers are the same chargers used for many mobile phones. As such, they are interchangeable. The xbox wireless headset can also notify gamers of specific actions via various beeps during use. If you wish to use it for your personal computer, you will need a wireless receiver. Overall, the maximum number of both wireless headsets and wireless controllers stands at four each at any given moment. There have been a number of bugs and flaws with the Xbox wireless headset. Chief among them is the fact that they may not always work with certain types of controllers. There have been reports of a sudden loss of connection during gameplay as well. As such, the only way to repair a faulty Xbox wireless headset is simply by replacing it. Other problems revolve around the headset completely failing to work afer a few months of constant use.
